Okay so I have 2 questions, the first being one that seems like it would be easy, but I honestly don't see why this isn't working:
I am making somewhat of an original Zelda clone, and I need my character to when pressing the attack button to
1. Play a short but slow shooting animation (2 frames, standing and shooting)
2. Stop moving when that animation is playing.
The problem is, I can't get the character to stop moving, and the animation plays way too fast. I've currently got the animation speed set to 4 (same as my walking animation) and for some reason its over in a blink of an eye, I even duped the frames a couple of times to artificially extend the animation and it's like Construct doesn't even notice they are there.
My logic is setup like this:
My guess is that since its activating on button pressed that the animation for some reason is only playing for the brief millisecond, but I don't know how else I could set it up!
Question2: So I was thinking about giving my game a little depth by having it so when my character goes to the top of the screen, he gets smaller (like hes going into the background or something) and as he gets to the bottom he gets bigger, does anyone know how I could possibly do that? Like is there a way to do a If object gets close to border blah blah sort of thing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
