I am working a on a project that needs a continuous movement like a bullet but can also follow a grid, like grid based movement. The style of movement is very important to the game, without it the game is technically broken. Any help at all would be great thank you!

2: is this for a playable character or NPCs?
3: do you need it to follow in a certain path continuously or do you need it to stay in a straight line continuously?

I need the player constantly moving and traveling only along the X and Y axis, turning when when an arrow key is pressed. The problem I am running into is any movement that I add to behaviors is breaking it out of the grid breaking my game.
Yes it needs to follow a straight line continuously. Just like pacman.
