Windows 8 Metro apps?

I was looking around about Windows 8 app, they will release their own app store when release Windows 8, it makes me wonder is possible to release .EXE with DirectX for Windows Metro apps from Construct Classic.

DirectX is has some features like 3D Background, Shaders, etc.

I was worrying Construct Classic games wouldn't work or something on Win8, have you tried them then?

I would say that the DirectX9 limitation would make that a no.

From what I've read, you should be able to run in compatibility mode.

Just no "metro" styling, and the dx9 install might be a pain.

Every AAA games come with DX9 installer

I think Metro Apps may be our goldmine when they release windows 8 at public and almost everyone buy new cheap computers come with Windows 8.

lol, why wouldn't they include all DirectX updates with Windows 8? It's a core part of windows.

It's so stupid if windows 8 doesn't support directx.If it does, I'm sure no gamer will use it.
