  • Hi!

I think it would be great if we could set angle of spawned object. Same goes for "Create object..." actions. Maybe I'm dumb, but I tried many ways and I still can't make an event which would provide me with 5 same objects, every shot in a different angle, all of them in same time.

Sory for my English, and thanks for reading I'm waiting for comments.

  • If you use the 'set angle' action after spawning/creating that'll set it.

  • This thread title made me think of something:

Will we ever be able to change the angle of a Bullet-behaviour object other than the actual angle of the object it spawns from? I'm fooling around with the behaviour in non-bullet ways and it would help.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Here is the latest version of my advanced object creator its pretty much the same as the Create Object by name but it has the option to set the angle right in the paramaters. I cleaned it up recently so some of the params may be funky if thats the case please post in my thread on the plugin forum.

    Advanced Object Creator

    You go to program files>Scirra>Construct>Plugins

Put the first .csx in that folder then open the runtime folder and put the .csx in the runtime folder in there.

The ordinary Sprite 'set angle' action should also change the angle of the bullet... the Ghost Shooter tutorial uses this.

  • I could swear I tried that, but evidently not.

  • Rich: I know, but I it works only when one object is spawned.

    Here's what I've got:

And here's what I want to get:

That's why I think we need an option to set angle of created object, or maybe just new action "Shoot object in direction".

  • Here's how to properly achieve that .

  • I thought about loop, but had no idea how to get it to work Thanks a lot!
