A few ideas

This forum is currently in read-only mode.
  • 1. A way to add frames within the Picture Editor. There should be two + icons, one to add a blank frame and one to duplicate the current frame.

    2. An 'X' to each thumbnail in the Picture Editor for animations, to remove frames.

    3. Text tool to the Picture Editor, it's annoying to use Paint etc if I just want to quickly slot some text in.

    4. Scrolling dotted lines around the selection, and cursor changes when dragging the handles.

  • 5. Scrubbing with the arrow keys (when the filmstrip is selected).

    6. A "Play" button that would cycle through the animation, along with a field for entering the animation speed within the editor itself (could populate from/update the animation speed in the animation properties).

  • 5. Scrubbing with the arrow keys (when the filmstrip is selected).

    This.

Also if before the first and after the last frames in the filmstrip there were + icons in the next thumbnail, you could really easily add frames to an animation.

  • cool you are going to do thise features, altho i did ask for some of them few time already ><'

    Quoted for poking.

  • Would it be possible to move bumpmapping/heightmap from "effects" to Picture Editor?

normaly you must have ie. 20 sprites (10 sprites + 10 with bumpmap) set events for them to control light proper way.

Adding extra icon to picture editor for import bump...files could make it twice less painfull. Import your picture then import your bumpmap and its ready, one sprite with bumpmap. If you could then set bumpmap light to the Light object it would be nice effect without any events and unnecessary "effect sprites".
