is htere any palnning to make Construct Player like Flash player so that .cap files may be palyer in the browser
Something like this would mouse likely require completely rewriting the runtime engine and probably isn't going to happen, especially not before 1.0.
I'm not sure exactly what the protocol is for making a web browser plugin.. probably not too difficult but a big enough job to wait a while..
I think browser plugins are a crowded market and given people's natural skepticism of websites which try to install any software, it would be hard to gain any traction with our own custom browser plugin. It'd need a lot of thought before we went forward with anything like that.
It's technically possible to turn our runtime into an Active-X, and without too much effort, but the better option if we ever come to it is probably to export to Java, Flash, Silverlight, or any other web format which is well established.
rich i think your suggestion is the esiest way to see .cap in browser
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
No it's not easy It's probably the easiest method, but as Ashley said I'm sure how widely it could be taken up as a new unknown Active-X.
I doubt we'll see anything for months/years on that front .
ActiveX doesn't work on Firefox, Opera or Chrome. IE only.
