Addresses many bugs reported here (thanks everyone!). Note now I am going to start work on opening the Learn section of the site, since there isn't much point having Construct if nobody can figure out how to use it! I will be doing bits and bobs for 0.86, but it will probably take a bit longer than the normal interval between builds.

Here's the changelog:

• Fixed two crashes in RTS movement. RTS movement now also moves to nearest possible cell when you issue a move command to inside a solid.
• Fixed scrolling bounds bug when zoomed out
• Fixed parameter description display bug
• Small display engine optimisation & tweak, let me know if 3D box is still blanking out workspaces for you
• Fixed type checking of expression parameters. Amongst others this allowed Sprite.Value("String") or Sprite.Value(25) to be valid but nonfunctional.
• Fixed editing of movement actions.
• Fixed crashes clicking Back and picking different object/movement in the action/condition dialog.
• Fixed escape button in image editor
• Further improvements and additions to animations.
• The Web Browser plugin was not working so has been removed until its fix
• Layout REARRANGING!

But, nonetheless, awesome! And you did it as fast as lighting!

• Hot damn, I'm going to check out the animation fixes as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks, Ash!

Still there. Thanks for the update, however!

• Layout rearranging can be done but is really buggy. By dragging layouts in the project bar, although the mouse icon is a no-go icon, if you drag upwards on to where it says 'Application 1', the layout jumps to the end. Not very good, but because you can move any one to the end, you can get the order you want just about Obviously a bug which needs seeing to though...

• Neat !

It's great to see Construct improving so quickly, I can't wait to see how it will be in the next months.

• 3D box still makes workspace black .

• The Animation Bar is still pretty much broken, I can't change the speed of the animation at all, and if I try and copy frames, it crashes Construct. The only way I can slow down the animations is to import a frame several times, which is just far too time consuming.

• Animation speed works fine here. A setting of 10 cycles through 10 animation frames in one second. Is this not what you see?

• My bad; the .cap I got emailed I managed to fix. 0.86 will include a fix for animation playback.

Looking forward to it

This and the Picture Editor crash bug were the two major things bugging me.

• Just a quick update, I've ordered a shiny new PC and when it arrives I'll do a few more bug fixes and upload 0.86. Linking the IDE takes bloody ages on this underclocked, overheating PC

That's unuseful because you always start with the first layout created.
