Haha I was listening to Bloodsports soundtrack (the one from the finals ;p) when I found this post, made me feel really nostalgic awesome game friend keep up the good work!!! I really like the retro vibe. Cant wait to play this!!!

Testing the steam/smoke cover mechanic with dynamic lighting. Initially the smoke would separate the light but it wasn't as intuitive for the player to use.

Working on the loading screens for a public access terminal today, still WIP. At the moment these terminals act as a checkpoint and a place for the player to rest and restock.

Hi, I used a monochrome layer underneath a layer of colours with the multiply effect.

Yes! I think someone asked me on Twitter before. I'm planning to do a C64 palette, and colour blind palettes, and anything else that comes up in testing.
