A week or so ago I took part in Ludum Dare 40 and built a little game called Rebel Call.

Neat usage of the layering technique.
But also a nicely rounded package with the sound and menu visuals.
Controls get cluncky when rubbing against 'npcs'.

Yeah, I really couldn't work out "round" collision. Best I could do was the hexagon polygon....
