A week or so ago I took part in Ludum Dare 40 and built a little game called Rebel Call.
You can vote for it on the Ludum Dare page here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rebel-call
You can play it here: https://sean-noonan.itch.io/rebel-call
Here's a time lapse I made showing the 48 hours worth of development condensed down to 5 minutes:
Cool!
Neat usage of the layering technique.
But also a nicely rounded package with the sound and menu visuals.
Controls get cluncky when rubbing against 'npcs'.
Cool game jam entry anyway
Yeah, I really couldn't work out "round" collision. Best I could do was the hexagon polygon....
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I wrote a few words to comment on the Ludum Dare 40 results (spoilers: I came 27th)!

Such a great idea! Congrats.
Well done, enjoyed your write up and your time lapse. I could not quite see, but were there 'design notes' in your time lapse? It would be interesting to see that also.
