  • I'm working on yet another platformer (I like platformers). This time, it will have 3D blocks for the character to run on! Also, there are 3 characters to choose from (all of them being my characters of course lol)! One of the ninjas, traveling through different biomes! Here is the title that I made!

  • Animated Title Screen! :D

    Yup! I made an animated title screen! I was interested that you could make animations with the timeline so I did! Too bad only one timeline is allowed for the free edition (Also the timeline can't be longer than 5 seconds, I don't think I'll be making any cutscenes from the timeline feature any time soon.)

    Anyways, here it is! Comment on it if you want lol.

    That's all I actually have. I kinda got lazy and lost a bit of motivation to work on this project up until recently lol. Development might speed up because I'm sick with that pesky little virus that makes you cough (Yeah I don't like wearing masks. Who cares?) so I have a lot of free time on my hands lol.   • Uhmmm...Sorry for not posting any updates for a while...

    So yeah, a few things might change about the game, one of them being most likely the most significant.

    Anyways, for starters, I'm making the blocks 3D. I'm not sure why, I thought it looked interesting so I wanted to try it out!

    Here's an old image I took with the blocks in the picture (this is basically what it'll look like in the EDITOR).

    (ik this is a spoiler cry about it lol)

    Second, the splash screen at the start of the game is no longer black but red. It looks quite different from the old version but hopefully, it looks better :') (Sorry, but I can't get a good gif of the splash screen)

    and..... last but not least....the most dreadful change of them all.....

    The Multiplayer Feature Has Been Scrapped FOR NOW :(

    I'm sorry everyone. I really wanted to make the game multiplayer but due to the limitations of the free edition, (yes I use the free edition I have to work with what I have here) I just can't really make it. Wait actually maybe I can but I'll have to make the levels and all that. I'm just not sure whether making the multiplayer feature first is a good choice or not. Anyways, I'm sorry to disappoint whoever even reads this...and that's pretty much it :/

  • Future Release Coming Soon!

    Hello everyone! I hope you all are having an AWESOME day! Anyways, there will be more content and hopefully more enjoyment from anyone who plays! :)

    For starters, I've made a cutscene since any good game needs a cutscene! Here are a few images with dialogue!

    I'm also planning on adding a level-select screen to my game so that you can choose any level you want to play! While I haven't started working on that yet (due to me working on the cutscene), I'll be sure to have it in the game!

    And last but not least...

    I'm removing the demo level and adding newer levels!

    Due to technical issues, the demo level won't be present in the full release. I apologize to those who liked the level (even with it being very buggy and short) but due to the characters being able to walk through the walls and me not being able to find a clear explanation on how to do so, it's gotta go! Level 1-1 barely has any progress though but it'll be longer and hopefully a better introduction to the game (in terms of gameplay).

    Anyways, that's all that I've got for now. I couldn't be bothered to show anything else so that's pretty much it. Thanks for reading this. Have an AWESOME rest of your day! :D

  • New Pixel Letters!

    I didn't really have any motivation to make pixel letters since it already took a while to make the letters for my game, but I've decided that since I want this version to look a lot better, I've made all 26 letters in the English lexicon in pixel art form! Here they are! :D

    Also, the development of the game may be paused until further notice. The reason why is that I'm basically reworking my website (basically an overhaul).   • Hey everyone! Happy (late) New Year!

    I'm sorry I hadn't updated this forum for a while, I kinda forgot to do so lol.

    Basically, I couldn't work on the game during the winter break, but I'm now working on it and so far, work's getting done!

    I don't really want to spoil too much, other than this:

    Due to a bug in the game where if you lost all your lives and went back to the level the game wouldn't go to the level layout, I made my game into a save game! Basically, the game will save when you go to a new level! I decided to go with it since I've been wanting to make it so that the progress could be saved and that it was an easy solution to the problem! That's all for now, have an AWESOME day! :D

  • Hello again! I'm back and here are a few updates for my game!

    To start off easy, I remade the character select screen with some pixel art and added a sound to show what they all sound like!

    Next, I've added portals in my game so that the player could teleport! The reason why was that in a game that I made about 7-8 months ago, there were portals that could take you to a new level or teleport you to a different location! So that's what I did!

    Last but CERTAINLY not least...

    I'm making different biomes for the game!

    What I mean is that there will be different environments for the character to run in, I'm planning to make these biomes:

    Grasslands (Levels 1 and 2)

    Beach (Level 3)

    Desert (Level 4)

    Savanna (Level 5)

    Temperate Forest (Level 6)

    Taiga (Level 7)

    Tundra (Level 8)

    Lava Lake (Level 9)

    Cave (Level 10)

    While I know that not all of these are biomes, at all, I thought that it would fit in with the game, though it'll take a while for me to complete. Also, this is just an idea that I had, so It may not happen, but we'll see.

  • Hello! I've got some updates on my game!

    For starters, I fixed the jumping so that it was consistent, didn't delay, and worked well! Yeah sure, this may not seem like much, but it's a problem I had ever since I reworked the jumping after finding out that the old events I used didn't work properly.

    Second, I made the fullscreen quality too low to make the game run at a faster FPS since when I set the quality to high, the frame rate would be drastically low.

    Third of all, I'm thinking of adding better pixel graphics to my game. Here is this for example:

    As you can see, the roof now actually has textures unlike before. I'm basically going to be doing this to objects that just look bland or just have one color painted all over them.

    Forth, I remade the "About" layout so that it would show the objective of the game along with my social media and my website (Oh boy I love adding shameless plugs into my game!):

    And finally...

    I'm working on the levels lol. The biomes may change and stuff but I'm still working on them. I've got level 4 maybe nearly halfway done as well! :D

    Welp, that's all folks! I'll be giving an update to the game real soon!

  • Good grief! I realise that it is WIP project so graphics should not be judged, but your color pallete is giving me eye pain.
