Can You Solve the Physics Challenge? Try My New Game: "The Incredible Machine of Rube Goldberg"
If you have ever spent hours watching those complex, mesmerizing chain-reaction videos on YouTube that end with something as simple as turning on a light switch or popping a balloon, you already know the magic of Rube Goldberg machines.
As a technology teacher and independent game developer, I've always been fascinated by how physics can be turned into pure entertainment. That is why I poured all of that passion into my latest project: "The Incredible Machine of Rube Goldberg".
🛠 Crafted with Care (and Construct 3)
This game is much more than just another app; it is the result of countless hours tweaking physics, collision engines, and chain-reaction mechanics using Construct 3. The real engineering challenge was making the weight, gravity, and movement feel smooth and satisfying on mobile devices.
The core concept is simple: you are given a set of everyday items, and your mission is to place them strategically. Once you hit "Play," a flawless chain reaction must unfold to achieve the final goal.
🧠 Why Is This Puzzle Game Different?
While there are plenty of puzzle games out there, I wanted to give this one a unique flavor:
Pure Logic & Strategy: It’s not about fast reflexes; it’s about understanding how objects interact. If you love classic puzzle titles like the original The Incredible Machine, you will feel right at home.
Educational Roots: As an educator, I designed it to be a stimulating mental workout. Whether you are a student or just someone who loves testing their brain, it offers a fun challenge.
Challenging Scoring System: For the competitive players out there, the game features a scoring system. Just solving the puzzle isn't enough—can you master it and beat the high score?
📥 Where Can You Play It?
I’m really proud of how it turned out, and I would love for you to give it a try. You can jump in using whichever platform you prefer:
On Mobile: Download it directly from the Google Play Store.
On the Web: If you prefer playing straight from your browser, check it out on my platform: retoclase.com.
A Small Favor from Developer to Player
As an indie project, your feedback means the world to me. If you download it, have fun, or get stuck on a diabolical machine, I would love to hear your thoughts.
