How do I toggle something on only after for example 5 key presses?

I want to create an ability for my character which can only be activated if you press the F key 5 times fast, is it achievable or am I gonna have to find a workaround?

When you press the F key add 1 to a variable and start a short timer. If the timer ends set the variable to 0. If the variable = 5 then run the ability.
