How do I program Chess game?

is there anyone who can explain how to convert api's values into sprite positions.

It looks like a simple 2d array.

The values within brackets [] indicate the rows, while commas separate the columns.

You can use tokenat or regex to find out what is at each position directly, or as soon mentioned try parsing it with the json object and reading the values with json expressions.

oosyrag I never used regex before and never know about it But I know tokenat method. can you little explain about json object and json expression. How I have to do with json

What I should type in the textbox to move from b7 to a8 and promote it to Queen?

It uses Standard Algebraic Notation for moves. See this link:

still I'm not sure what I should type there as I tried b7-a8Q, b7-a8=Q, b7-a8a8Q.

Use string like b7-a8q to promote to a queen.

In my example I'm calling .move method with 3 parameters - from, to, promotion. There is another way to use it, by passing a string in Standard Algebraic Notation (SAN). In this case to promote a pawn you'll need to run a script like this:

chess.move('a8Q')
