How do I prevent tiny gaps from showing between 3D shapes?

  • Hello everyone,

When placing 3D shapes that are perfectly sized and using a grid, I still get tiny gaps showing between them (if the camera angle is right?).

This matter is also visible in editor, but I'm sharing my setup in case.

    Sampling : Nearest

    Projection : Perspective

    320*180 Viewport

    Letterbox integer scale fullscreen mode

    High fullscreen quality

I have tried all the fullscreen modes, but it still occurs.

In the attached example, you can see that the gap is visible between two wall chunks (3D Shapes)

The only lead that I have found so far is that unchecking the face visibility of the 3D faces that briefly appear and cause a tiny gap can prevent it from happening alltogether.

However it is a very local fix and requires tons of work in editor.

Or should I attempt to write something that hides all such faces in runtime?

Also made a reddit post of the issue, there's a gif there
