moving object with mouse, Go a little trough falling object

  • Hi Construct COmmunity

    i'm currenctly using construct 3

    i have two object

the first one is moving to the mouse position ,

the next one is falling ,

the problem when i'm trying to shoot the falling object with the moving object ,

the moving object go a little trough the falling object ((maybe because i move it to fast because when i move it slowly it dont go trough)) and its look verry weird and ugly someone can help me solve this ? by making continous collision or something to make collision more strong .?

thanks in advance hope my question is clear

  • You should post a basic c3p file so it will be easier to help.

But it sounds like you should be using the bullet stepping feature.

    https://www.construct.net/gb/make-games ... nce/bullet

  • I tried to enable bullet on both object without any , result

No it is not as simple as that, read the link above properly, especially the bit about stepping.

You need to enable stepping and then use the On Step Is Overlapping

    there is even an example,

    https://editor.construct.net/#open=bullet-stepping

it is all done for you, just read the manual and look at the example

if you are trying to hit something with a sprite at mouse position then i dont know if this will work but maybe only the falling object needs it

    post a c3p

As I already stated in one of your other threads, please just post your .c3p and stop all the pointless guesswork (and pointless multi-posts).

We want to help but you are not making it easy.
