I've placed a tileset in my project and have saved an image to it, but the "Tilemap"-tab is completely blank. It just says "Rotation: 0". In Construct 2 it would've shown the available tiles, so can anyone tell me if I'm missing something?
Maybe you removed tilemap from the layout?
No, it's always been there.
Guesswork is pointless.
If you want an educated and possible resolution to your problem, then post your .capx. It is by far the quickest way of getting help.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I tried, but nothing happens when I save the project as a file. No download is initiated.
Furthermore, all I've done is create a tilemap and nothing else. I've used Construct 2 for years, and if tilemaps work the same way then I don't think it's a user error.
Probably some issues with your browser then. Have you tried clearing cache?
Yeah. I'm also in touch with Scirra support, so I've already gone through the basic troubleshooting steps.
Okay so apparently this seems to be a macOS or Safari issue. The way to get around it is to undock- and dock the panel repeatedly and in different positions until the tile window content finally shows.
Must be a bug or something.
