I've started working on a construct project to prototype a game for a class, I've inserted 8-directional movement as a behavior and it doesn't work at all, no inputs simulated or default seem to make the sprite budge. Am I stupid or is something actually borked? (leaning towards the former but I can't seem to find anything online) drive.google.com/file/d/12tMgZkgmli2x-uBlDyDYvFqsocIyqtQv/view
The background is entirely made of solids so it has nowhere to move.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Hello, Ashley aswered but to make it easy here:
1 - Select Sprite
2 - Turn Solid OFF
Are you sure about using sprites this way for background?
Try tiled background + tilemap.
