How do I convert recorded audio to robotic voice?

Hi Friends,

I have a requirement where user has to speak in the microphone and his voice is heard back in form of robotic voice. Talking tom app is similar one. Guys, any help in trick to get this robotic voice? any sample capx or reference link will be big help.

I don't know about the recording audio part, but there are audio effects you can apply at runtime - particularly playback speed.

For a true robot-like voice though, you're talking an effect like a vocoder, which take a signal and processes the carrier.
