WebView2 export focus and blur vs keyboard/pad input

Exported in WebView2 app when looses focus (i.e. alt+TAB switching to other app) keeps keyboard and pad inputs inactive when back in focus mode.

Is there an easy workaround for this problem in C3?

Don't know if this is related, but I thought I'd test on the demo version of my game that I just updated. ALT+TAB away and back and keyboard input only works if I click inside the window. I didn't try a controller. But I closed the demo and it crashed and brought Steam down with it. I couldn't restart Steam but after some back and forwards with ChatGPT, I got it running again but then replicated the same issue again. (Windows 11).

I did remember that I'd forgotten to apply the fix described here to get Xbox controllers working (at the expense of the Steam overlay):

The full version (using a different Steam account on a Windows 10 laptop) appears to be working fine.

Not really. As a web based solution, when WebView2 looses focus, it disables inputs of keyboard and pad. It cannot pick it up when focused unless user will - for example - do a mouse click in focused window. For full-screen gaming this is unwanted behavior.

As for xbox controller - recent WebView broke it, but there is a workaround by addind some command in exported JSON file.

The best thing to do in such cases is file an issue following all the guidelines so we can fix it, and then you don't have to work around it.

Ashley I wouldn't consider this as a C3 bug, more like a limitation of WebView technology, but I'll file an issue.
