    Turns out I had to change the nodes Release tag to 0.4.0 even when using Steamworks SDK 1.5 (got confused by the naming) and I also had to follow the link I sent before.

    The v0.6.0 releases should work fine with Steamworks SDK 1.5 Could you please give more details on what exactly failed? I'd also appreciate an upload of those specific node files if possible. Knowing the version of NWjs you're using would also be useful for reproduction.

    EDIT: I just tested it with NWjs v0.52.0 and v0.6.0 Windows x64 node files and they all work as expected. The error must be on your end.

    What about Steam Overlay Feature on Mac exports?

    I can't manage to get it work correctly.

  • Sad to say, I have never seen that work w/ Greenworks and electron or nwjs. There are threads about it not working on the Greenworks github. Other Mac applications (not Construct/nwjs/electron based) can get overlay, so it is possible.

    I would be happy to hear a solution, but I search for a while a year ago and did testing and came up empty.

    One thing I can't seem to figure out right now is that the Browser: Close command doesn't work correctly after I set it up for Steam. This happens pre-upload to Steam, and I'm still not 100% that it's the Greenworks itself but so far in my process that seems to be the dividing line between when it works or not.

    What happens normally is that Browser: Close turns off the game and closes the window.

    What happens after replacing the Greenworks files is that Browser: Close will turn off the game but the window itself will remain. This happens on both Windows OS and Mac OS.

    Any ideas about this?

    I used the same version (0.52) and I don't have this problem at all. Nor win neither mac exports.

    This is a bug with the Construct 2 NWjs plugin. Many plugin actions have never received proper updates to support more recent changes.

    Try adding the browser plugin and use the "execute javascript" action to execute this code:

    "var win = nw.Window.get(); win.close();"

  • does this Greenworks plugin support Steam cloud saves?

    EDIT: nevermind, Steam uses an Auto-Cloud Save feature that will work.
