Objects "Flicker" when moving fast

  • I tried it with a very simple program that several sprites of size around 250*250, have bullet behavior that moves at speed 1000, gets 60 fps and pretty smooth movement on browser. But once I export it as an android app using the Construct 3 built, still get 60 fps but the objects now "flicker" (not sure if it is the correct word, but the movement is a bit choppy) when moving, even when the bullet speed is set to something small like 400. Anyone has similar problems before and a solution to fix that?

    I found this thread on Unity and am not sure if it is related. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I have ran a test for both part12studios' and your flickering.apk on my samsung S7 device. The jerky or flickerly movement was presented with 55-50fps but running smoothly on browser preview.

    I have ever had this problem back when I tried to play around with dt and sine movement but I forgot what is the cause of the bad movement. No idea if it relevant to this issue but I will dig it out and check on it again.

  • Thanks for your help. I have also tried to export to Android Studio and build an apk there and still get jerky movement. Would greatly appreciate if you could find out a solution for this. Thanks again!

  • Hi,my problem is similar, i have a simple game, obstacles and background have bullet behavior and they are moving when game start. There is no problem when preview on pc but on mobile phone moving is not smoothly, they are hanging out. i read you essays about performance and i tried to improve performance but i couldnt get satisfying reslts(i used pin behavior for obstacles, compiled android 5.0 and above e.g) Could you give me a suggesstion.
