Construct 3 discount price + Multiplayer

Just got construct 2 Feb. 4 2016 but I just started using the engine a few months ago. I want to know, will I be able to get a discount?

Also, I want to create multiplayer games only, will there be an easier way to make multiplayer games? Or do we still need to either use the multiplayer addon by scirra or Photon.

Since you own a C2 license, you'll get 50% discount of your first year of C3.

I don't think that making multiplayer games will ever be easy. Unless you use a cookie-cutter engine and severely limiting your possibilities at the same time.
