C3 editor is slow with big projects? (not so bad after all)

Yes this is a common issue that been present since launch, especially if you are using the dark theme.

Keeping your events in groups and closing the ones not been worked on helps a lot.

A couple other areas to look at is the computer/device you are working on, the browser you are using etc.. Finally if those things don’t improve you might need to go through and do some reorganization of your project, remove un-needed code, convert somethings to Java Script. We would hope that they can continue to improve on Construct to help with these issues.

I do Newt, thank you. I guess I could completely restructure my project but at what point does it start to become sluggish? I guess it is based on your machine but I'll find out myself.

Well, I did!

And after toying with it for a few days it isn't as bad as I thought. The new search feature covers multiple event sheets so it isn't as bad splitting things up if an event sheet gets too bloated to work with.

First impression of the full version of C3 is great. Glad I finally got on board. Good job Scirra!
