but your game looks cute too ^^

  • LOL ikr <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I thought the same thing, Regardless it is a great name;)

*edit* Almost forgot, your game is looking great, Keep it up.

  • You had me at Lobo, lol.

Graphically its like Mario - but also not. I like it. It plays really smoothly, like the effects for the trees.

Really good idea to shoot him out of a cannon to the next stage! Fun!

  • MelVin

    Yay! thx <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm still struggling to learn some C2 features, but i'm trying my best!

GenkiGenga yeah, i first used a door for the next level transition, but doors are boring <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

also, the cannon helped me learning something about the "wait" action

    and thx for the feedback <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I like what you've got started with. Plays very nicely, and the graphics are lovely. I like the sound effects a lot too, staying in tune with the retro feel and everything. It was only a quick demo/tutorial, but it was strangely satisfying anyway. And the cannon is awesome.

It just feels fun. Looking forward to more.

  • :)) i laugh when see the line " collect money to buy c2 License", it's perfect ! Maybe you can creat something like the main goal of the game is collect Gold and money, beat the boss down , anythings to get C2 License.

  • Yay thx!

I spent some time changing and testing different platform settings, aiming for a smooth and fluid gameplay <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

LOL yeah, this project is only a test for me to get used to C2, but, why not having a plot, right? <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Since the game's name and main character are based of me, I though about using a plot also based on my situation <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Looks nice. :)

Visually very simple and clear. Good work!

  • Very good, but I think the acceleration and deceleration are far too low. I sort of end up sliding everywhere.

    Also, why can't I change direction in mid-air? :O

  • I really like your game. I'm building a platform game for such a long time but I can't find time to complete it.

  • Good job so far!

I second what sqiddster said. Lobo is sliding a little. Also, I see no reason for the mini-tutorials saying what the player should do. Let the player find out by himself, let him die falling into the holes on the ground before succeed. The challenge will be much more interesting.

  • brunogruber

    Thanks!

Yep, i think the floating texts telling you what to do are a bit too much...

The slides were kind of intentional, but maybe it's better to have a more "static" character

    I'm glad you guys are liking it! <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    PS: n?o sei pq to respondendo em ingles <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • A few edits:

    • Added 2 new enemies
    • Enemies now drop coins
    • Fixed the "sliding" gameplay
    • Got rid of the floating tutorial texts
    • Added a palceholder music from Kevin Macleod

    Hope you guys like it! <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
