  • Platform behaviors don't collide with each other. But if I will have fps issues, I'll definitely go with it. Thanks for advice!

  • I've updated 1st post with bug-free demo (hopefully).

    BTW, Construct classic's bullet behavior had a feature of invisible, lightning speed bullet. It was hitting target instantly.

    How can I achieve it in Construct 2?

    Really? I wish I'd known that sooner, because I guess that means that about half of my projects don't actually work--like this one! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    Your project is quite impressive. I didn't think you could achieve such results with composite characters in C2 yet.

  • hmm i didn't understand why there is a box moving with arrow keys ... also the game looks good but i would like to see something on bullets (fade behavior ) so and it takes like 4-5seconds to fade this will make game better ^^

  • kittiewan no, I meant that if shells, provided with platform behavior, instead of physics, wont create hill of used shells. Instead, they will all be on the floor, so no one hell of a big piramid of shells under your good ol' army boots :)

    zsangerous you mean the "P" box in capx? That is "real" player, his movements (via platform behavior) lies under all character animation. The character sprites are just using "set position to player".

    UPDATE:

    , oh, you mean the "E" box. I just not disabled the default buttons for Enemy Box :)

    I'm coding character control on both WASD and Arrows, though I totally hate Arrows, some people prefer them. That's why I didn't noticed that movement before - I just don't use them at all <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Oh, and by the way, enemies are on top of the "what to do next" list

    What's New:

    • Now you can fall through jump-thru panels, while holding Down arrow or S keys (still looks buggy, but works);
    • Dumb Enemy Box. Can only kill itself for now.
  • Updated again! Get link from previous post. Now enemy's legs should chase use, instead of dumb box. You also can shoot at it and will get some blood =)

    If box is still chasing you, try to refresh page several times (to clear cached .js)

    After full enemy model will be done, rag-doll dead bodiess will follow.
