Touch: On tap object VS on touched object

Hi

What is the difference between "on tap object" (Gesture) and "on touched object" (Touch)?

Can't find it in the manual.

Which should i use to check if a user "click on a button"?

Tap is equal to Keyboard Key Pressed condition;

Touch is equal to Keyboard Key Down condition.

You should probably use tap for a button.

It is what NicotineLL said. I just want to clear it up a small bit.

It also depends on what you want.

Touch will activate what is touched as soon as it is touched on touch down.

Tap will activate what is touched if touch down and touch up happens on the object within a set amount of time.

You can touch down on button and slide finger off and nothing will happen.
