How to make snow or flying leaves?

I am working on a plattformer and I like to add some Weather Effects to it. Any ideas how to do this?

Here is an example I made. I'll comment the .capx and upload it after work.

I made a little change on mine, deleted 4 collision polygon points, and by making the polygon a bit smaller you have now nice overlapping when leaves are grouped together.

Sure, but slow it done and use a snow flake texture instead of leaves and you have a convincing snowing weather effect.

There. I barely did any changes though, except curve the M&Ms a little. Oh, and added some music and a background.

hehe nice, the green of the leaves is a bit acid though you should make them match the green of the tree a bit more.

also maybe the little boy could be a solid sprite so leaves will fall on him :D

That was pretty much the whole 'game'.

I like the idea of the leaves falling on his head. And I wanted to add a little button so wind will blow and clear out the leaves, and maybe change the leaves to autumn.

It was just me being artistically inspired by your game code-fu. :)

Fun thing I am trying to apply this to circular planets with changing gravity. :D It kind of works with physics and applied force but they speed up to fast.

I was thinking to try to use it as indication where the gravity of other planet takes effect. That it would not fall at all or just fall upwards (away from planet) slowly.

Any ideas?
