I've got a small problem. Two actually.
First off all, I'm making a side scrolling RPG. Kinda like mario. I'm now trying to keep a textbox in the upper right corner where ever the player is moving. That being said, I'd also like to know how to center the player so the player stays in the middle of the screen unless he reached a side of the layer. I'm using platform for this.
1) Set the text box to be in a new layer, then, set its paralax to 0,0;
2) Just use the Scroll to Behavior on the player, or, do a customized "scroll to". Using the search button you'll be able to find many samples of custom "scroll to" made with events;
thanks for the quick reply, I'll try the second in a moment but how do I set an objects paralax?
Fixed the second problem. But I still can't get the text box to stay in my upper left corner...
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
place the text box on the layer with parallax 0,0.
The parallax is on the layer configuration window, on the left side of C2 by standard.
If you don't know where your text is, click on it and see on the left side what is written inside the "layer" field.
Thanks, it's fixed now! :D
