Random Answer

Hi I'm making a game requiring two random numbers set up in a math problem. I was wondering how to make the answer be the actual anwer to the problem. If you could tell me what the event would look like that would be great.

I would have 3 variables (2 numbers that make up the question, and one for the answer). I would then have text boxes that display those variables, and have an event that performs the math problem. Var 3 = Var 1*Var 2.

Would you like me to quickly put it together in Construct 2, or do you think I made some sense? Lol!

Can you put it into constuct? I just tried and I did it with instance variables. Umm... I did X + Y = Answer all three of those things were the names of each text and I tried pressing apply but it said Unkown Expression.

Download and install the r86, it will work.

I downloaded it about there was a check failure then an error again after I closed that. Still having problems but thanks for trying.

That's strange. Did you uninstall the previous version when installing the r86 ?

By the way, r87 has been released since it should even work better.

I've just tried opening the capx and got no error, there's an issue on your end.

Make sure to uninstall all copies of C2 and install the very latest release r87.

Install it, download the capx again, open it.

If you're still obtaining check failures and errors, be sure to make screenshots/read the content of the error messages as it gives informations on what may go wrong.
