"Overlaps at offset" explanation?

Someone could say me, what does this parameters mean? or in general, how to work ? because I do not understand.. thank you!

Offset is position from a sprite collision where you put the coordenates on layout.

Lets say, that you want to destroy a sprite, when the other sprite is closing to it. Positive offset means, that when you reach lets say 100 px radius to the sprite it is destroyed, on the other hand if the offset is negative, you must go "inside" the sprite you want to destroy.

well anyway, I want to know if I do is

offset y==5 >>to objet (B)

means that a object(A) could be destroy(for example this action) if it reach to 5 pixels "before" of collide with the Object (B)

Overlap at offset checks if the object A_PLAYER is overlapping [SELECTED OBJECT] at an offset from it's current position

So if you have A PLAYER check if it's overlapping HORIZONTAL at an offset of x5 y0, it would check if A_Player.X+5 would make A_Player overlap HORIZONTAL.
