Wondering if this can be done.
Situation is .. I dont want the screen to scroll to as soon as a mini boss appears on the screen.
So is there a way to turn off scroll to on the player?
There isn't a way to disable the behaviour (oddly enough), but perhaps a better way to use the behaviour in general would be to have the screen follow and invisible dummy object. This gives you better control over smooth camera movements, and lets you customise the movement whenever you want by adjusting the position of the dummy object.
I got more uses to shifting scrollTo that I want to use. <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
Isn't that something you needed in tower defence if the map was really big?
Maybe you can set scroll-to on another object, and pin that object to the player most of the time, but when you need to scroll somewhere else pin or move the scroll-to object to another position instead of on the player? Then you can pin it back to the player when you need to move it back...
