  • Hey everyone,

I have created a physics puzzle and tried to add a moving platform that holds the platform and physics behavior. My phyisics enabled object rolls down onto the platform but when it lands on it and the platform moves, the object slides side to side depending on the movement of the platform. I cannot for the life of me find a way to stop it. Any suggestions? please

  • You should try tweaking the friction of both objects. The higher the friction, the less they will slide.

  • Surprisingly I did do that, The friction increase did nothing, not even slow it down, it its still the same. I even both of them on 1000 and it was still sliding :/

EDIT: I put it on the full '1' and sliding still occurs. Didnt read it needed to be between 0 and 1 but the sliding is still there on full...

If you are moving your platform without using physics then you will always get that problem. You could always use the pin to attach your object to the platform when it comes into contact with it.

I am moving the platform using both platform and physics, though I think pinning it might help? how do I pin the object to the platform? Thanks for the help
