How do I make a outline of sprite

In flash game, I saw each object have it's outline once clicked or focuses.

How do I make same affect in C2 for sprite...???

use photoshop ... Or try checking out C2 Fx base ( Never got a touch with it ) !

If you mean when you click on a sprite it has a highlighted outline around it you could make two images. One representing what it looks like before it is clicked, and another with a outline around it. Then just do an image swap kind of like this button example:

If it is a moving sprite you might have to pin them together, or use animation frames by setting on sprite clicked, or touched to set the outline animation.

No. I don't want to make image 2 times one for focus and one for other. Because in case my automation have hundreds of images, it make the loading get slowly..:).

I think there are way to outline sprite..like css3 without duplicate images.
