I have been using spriter for most of the animations in my game and have really enjoyed using it. One consistent problem I have is changing sprites only for certain instances of a spriter object. For instance, I will spawn a boss version of one of the characters and if I try to apply a different effect to the family of sprites, it affects ALL instances of the character. Does anyone have any idea how to get around this? If effects applied directly to the spriter object, you would be able to affect them individually but since any changes made to the family of sprites affects ALL instances, I don't know how to do this.
