How do I Use Mouse Control and have Obj not go through Solid

Is it possible to have a mouse controlled player object not pass through a solid? I can get it to work with KB but not mouse controlled. I saw a post from 4 years ago which makes it sound like it is not possible.

Curious if something has come up with a workaround since then.

There are compromises, but you can pretty much do anything. Just depends on how much work you want to put in to deal with custom movement behaviors.

How do you move this object with mouse - with drag and drop behavior? Or setting position to mouse x,y on every tick? Or using some other method?

I am helping someone else with the issue but it just looks like he has mouse enabled. Player1 moves with the mouse cursor from what I can tell
