Integrating leadbolt + cocoonjs

  • Hello friends,

As a couple of friends we are making some very small games to deploy on mobile, both ios and android. They are too small to be sold for a price but we were hoping to be able to add in some advertisements, which would (maybe) at least pay for store appliances and our server costs.

We tried to integrate Leadbolt but we couldn't get even get aproval for our link. And we have no idea what we are doing wrong.

Can someone with experience describe how to add advertisements, whether leadbolt or admob or any other kind into games when releasing with cocoonjs?

    Kind regards;

    -Wind.

  • 1) There is no support for LeadBolt in CocoonJS

    2) While submitting app to LeadBolt it's enough to put link to i.e. your webpage (just any page, later you can change it)

    3) I'm pushing LeadBolt for Construct 2 support since JUNE 2013

    4) You can push them too:

    supportpsl@leadbolt.com

    appspsl@leadbolt.com

I was also looking for LeadBolt, but as I read this post, my hope is down and that means we have to wait until this is done. Since I have read some where that Leadbolt is a good way to make some small amount of money with small games and so.

But this makes me said that there is no support for this. <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Here is another post I found , and think to share with you guys, I think it is done with phonegap not sure about it. Take a look to this link.<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

LeadBolt is great mobile ad network because of:

    • Net15 payments (so if you earn 100$ on May, then on 15th June you will get money)
    • innovative ads and recently better 'scalable' banner ads (so ad will look good on every resolution)
    • account manager for every developer
    • good cost per click and overall eCPM

unfortunetly PhoneGap sucks, so we have to push them to support Construct 2 in other way (i.e. plugin)

so please send e-mail to them:

    support@leadbolt.com, kateuvs@leadbolt.com

asking when they will support Construct 2

  • szymek That's good if this is the thing , I think we should like about 1000's of users send emails to them and ask them to support Construct 2. Maybe this can work. Since when they get big amount of mails they might think about it. I think we should talk to other experienced members about this , what do you say szymek.

    Thanks for the information mate. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I already sent them e-mail. It would be nice if everyone who reads this thread sent question about Construct 2 support too. In AdMob you have Net45 (so you get money about 45 days after first month), in LeadBolt Net15, so just because of that it's worth to do something, to push them etc.

  • szymek

That's great, yes I think we should make a request to everyone who is reading this and they can also tell about this to there friends , in this way we can get LeadBolt maybe soon enough.

    I will send about two emails to them tonight. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Every Email Counts. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • thehorseman007

    "Every Email Counts"

    exactly,

if you can earn on your apps, then later you can buy i.e. new tablet (to have more test devices), you can hire graphic designer to make nicer looking apps, you can buy sound packs from Scirra store, you can... and so on, and so on.

money gives possibility for developer evolution (and pays bills too)

  • szymek That's said very truly, yes you are right one more thing I will like to add that we can buy C2 Business Edition License which will help C2 and it's team in many ways.

Yes more money means more progress and other things, more happiness and so. But what else we can do to make other users email them too. Do we ask from the Ashley about this. What do you think my friend. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • thehorseman007

you can ask Ashley :) I already created topic "can Scirra make some deal..." on cooperation with ad mobile networks, but no reply

it's worth to push Leadbolt with e-mails asking about Construct 2 support

    thanks :)

  • e-mail sent, please lets press this issue until at least one of us gets an official answer.

    regards!

  • I was in touch with my account rep from leadbolt back in the beginner of Sept and explained our situation with Construct 2. Nothing ever came of it. I hope you guys have better luck.

I asked Ludei if they could support LeadBolt - they replied that they are not going to ad new networks in near future

today I get e-mail "Earn $5 eCPMs! No SDK Required!" from my LeadBolt manager asking me why I don't use LeadBolt on apps... so again: LeadBolt does not support C2... He said about HTML banners and AppWalls... then I replied: it's more complicated than just copy/paste, LeadBolt should take their HTML ads and make plugin for Construct 2. Then he asked about some traffic details and I gave him link to Scirra forum with C2 apps on Google Play.

    summing up:

"I will pass on to the right people."

Of course I heard similar reply from my previous account manager :D

  • We use smaato for c2, net90(normally sooner) first payout after that every payout net30. It has much more possibilities than leadbolt and grant US more money.

And smaato allows you to just take the c2 iframe plugin and load it with just some html/js code(which they give U).

For us it was the only good way to make money with c2.
