I would like the Google Play plugin to sign in my users automatically on the first time going into the app. I know this is possible because it works in other apps. I will install them for the first time on my phone and instantly be logged in via Google Play Games while seeing the below:
I was just wondering if this is possible through the official Google Play plugin or by other means?
Any help or advice is much appreciated!
Anything on this?
To use the Google Play plugin, you must first wait for it to finish loading. Do not attempt to use any features of the plugin until On loaded triggers, or Is loaded is true.
Next the Google Play plugin will automatically try to sign the user in. If they have successfully signed in before, On signed in will trigger soon after loading. If they have never signed in before, On auto-sign in failed will trigger; in this event you should show a button that allows the user to sign in. When they click this button, use the Sign in action; if it succeeds, On signed in will be triggered.
Once the user is signed in, you can make use of the other plugin features such as requesting leaderboards, submitting high-scores, and unlocking achievements."
I can't seem to find anything related to Google Play sessions, but "cookies" and "session" (or "sessions") are the key words you are looking for.
This is generally how it is supposed to work: http://machinesaredigging.com/2013/10/2 ... sion-work/
Do you have the Cranberry Cordova plug-in? Do on Start of Layout Cordova Game login. Basically on start of layout, in the action select Cordova Game and do login. Make sure you get the Cordova game number from Google Play and put that into the Cordova Game object.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Did that work? Basically On Start of Layout > Cordova Login.
