  • I've uploaded my game to the playstore (cocoon io)and everything is fine but when i'm trying to upload it on a server (or the arcade) it's loading and then the screen stays black... if i click in another window and come back the game is ready to be played... Why???

  • Good question.

As far as I can tell, there is no error set in the browser's console, so apparently all files are loaded as intended.

Nevertheless, there is no content to your questions. All that is displayed is a blank space, so I guess you are using some data structure which is not getting the actual data.

Are you using AJAX to get access to a distant server ? Or Project files ? Are you sure project files were part of your exported game ?

Have you tried hosting your game as HTML5 anywhere else than in Scirra's arcade ? If so do you encounter the same issue ?

Consider posting your capx for further investigation.

  • Hi Kyatric,

Thanks for answering!!! In fact, i've use your tutorial and capx to create this game. I'm not really good at coding even if c2 doesn't really need coding capacities <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

Well, here's the link to the capx: http://wikisend.com/download/598406/MA_ ... creen.capx

I've removed the game from my website but the problem was the same... I can put it back if you need to investigate from a different server.

    Thanks a lot!!!

  • I don't remember having done such a tutorial.

Also your capx contains cocoon related plugins.

Possibly this is the reason it is causing such issues. The HTML5 version shouldn't try to use mobile features at all.

Try to remove anything related to those in your code and remove them from the project and attempt to upload again.

  • Hi, i've removed the cocoon plugin and it doesn't make any difference. I've uploaded the game on my website:

Here's the capx without cocoon plugin.

    Thanks

  • I've just noticed that the games doesn't really work even when it's properly loaded. If you choose a category, the questions aren't loaded.

The text from the instruction section is loaded...

Every works fine on the playstore or when i'm running the layout from c2...
