hello, sorry for not answering for a while, I was very busy. It turns out that I've found the actual reason of why all the entities were being destroyed. I had set the entity to destroy when another sprite was being collided with, that's why all of them were being destroyed. I'll link the .caproj here:
Now the problem is, that I want the closest entity to be destroyed when the character collides with the big green sprite, instead of all the ones in the layout.
