How do I delete "icons" folder?

Hello, I would like to know how you can delete the "icons" folder of my project.

I'm not going to use those icons and besides, it bothers me that in the list of AJAX files they appear occupying space.

You could say: "just delete the folder and save your project".

I do that, but when I reopen the project ... the folder and the icons are there again.

I deleted the icons directly from the root directory of C2 but ... you know what ?, now appear folders with extension .png
