I'm having trouble with a Doodle Jump-like game.
My character jumps on platforms and the camera follows the Y of the character.
My problem is: When it jumps over a certain Y a random cloud is created, but when it overpass the layout the UI elements doesn't follow the player position, so they stay static on the starting position (the Y on wich they are placed on the layout).
How do I set a static position on the screen for the UI?
Thanks in advance,
Quick answer is to set the parallax of the UI layer to 0,0. Also look into global layers. And there are some good tutorials on this (search 'user interface' or similar. Good luck.

codah I tried setting the parallax of the UI layer to 0, 0.
But doing this, it move the layer litterally out of the screen.

I want the UI to be static and the player to jump on the clouds as it does in this example.
Can you help me?
As codah mentioned, paralax = 0,0.
Did this in your own example and it worked fine...
By the way, I'd suggest you add a Bound to Layout OR Wrap behavior to your player...
Thank you, I solved my problem!
