How do I create 2 player game where user play independently

I am stuck on logic on how to create game in which on one game board, two or more user will play and each user will play game independently means they will not interrupt or connected with other player game. I am attaching image for reference.

Also, i strongly advise to NOT make a multiplayer as first game. Ever.
