How do I ... conveyor belt

Hi,

I'm a n00b but I'm loving every minute of learning this stuff. I'm trying to make a game were the Player hits SPACE key and a "box" drops down... what I'm struggling with is the behaviour of the "box" when making contact with the conveyor belt.

I've checked out this tutorial

however, I've over complicated it I think.

Any help from a Guru would be appreciated.

You can use invisible sprites :

Box overlapping sprite number 1 ------ box set x to (self.x+5)

Box overlapping sprite number 2 ------ box set x to (self.x-5)

You shouldn't use physics and movement/platform behaviors at the same time, they don't work well together, use one or the other.
