How do I make char customize option?

Hi all! I am very new to construct. I am little to no experience at all. I was messing with the basic platformer project, and was wondering how I could make a little bar that allows a player to change the color of the square they control. How would I do this? Thanks!

Here is the method I used. I'm sure there are easier ways of doing this but anyway

Create a variable that changes when the value of the slider changes

Create different animations for your sprite

Set the animation to the variable value

Thank you Ryrydawg! I will look into this and see how it works and to do it. I am very new to Construct, so I don't know the coding basics (well, the event sheet lol).

Your best bet is to read through the manual, Once you have an understanding how arrays, variables, conditions and actions work, it's very easy <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">
