When someone clicks on Sprite, the specific word in TextBox should change the color. The problem is that the TextBox text was created from Global Variables. System generated it and now after clicking on Sprite, one word has to change color
The problem is that the TExtBox text was created from Global Variables. He generated it and now after clicking on Sprite, one word (one Gl Var) has to change color
I'm pretty sure it's not possible. You can change the color of the entire textbox with CSS, but not part of text in it.
In C2 if you want to display different words in different colors, you need to use Text object with BBCode behavior.
yeah i'm also sute that is not possible ;-)
The problem is that I am changing the color of a word which I do not know and the system only knows that it comes from Global Variable.
Ok, but it does not have to be a change of color. it can be bold or upper case. But the problem is that the system does not understand that it has to bold the word that comes from Global Var.
You can not use html tags in Textbox! It has nothing to do with global variables. You can not change color for one word, or make it bold or italic. It is simply not possible!
You need to use Text object + BBCode addon.
Colors change its possible with TagText plugin, but you cant copy this text.
I this it's the same with bbcode
Now I can made uppercase for some words from Glob Var and now i try with RGB, but i can't run this events
This will never work, you are wasting your time.
Kyatric maybe you can help with this action
It's almost done, because I can make uppercase for single variable an I see there is rgb, so its look like "possible" action.
rgb is not a "possible action", it's one of the many system expressions. It converts 3 separate numbers into one number, it has nothing to do with the text color and it will not help you!
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Textbox does not allow to color individual words as far as I'm aware.
You set the color for ALL the text at once.
Construct 3 allows you to cut out your text in the way you are willing to and apply BBCode to it that will allow you to have a specific format for specific words in the text.
ok, thank you
So when I told you the same several times, you didn't believe me? LOL :)
