so I'm making a game with several rooms, all of them in one layout. Around these rooms I'm putting some black sprites with Blur effects, as in the example:
The problem is: these black areas seem to decrease performance in some PCs (probably because of the blur, but i don't want to take it off). The example is purely illustrative, but the original layout is way bigger and detailed, and the issue becomes apparent.
My question is: is there another - smoother - way to make this black area?
