  • Hi everyone!

I'm developing a game that intends to make use of barcodes (any kind, linear, QR, etc!). I tried what i saw here on the forums but i'm totally lost... I'm stuck on my development cycle until i solve this issue.. which makes this an urgent matter to my project.

I'm hoping someone can help me out understanding what options i have!

I felt very very lost and confused among what i saw on the forums and i wish to help out others with the same problem...

so i'll try to ask clearly:

-Are there any barcode solutions available?

    -Which ones?

-Are there any requirement/bugs on them?

    -How do i implement them?

I don't mean to sound rude - i just would like to gather all the possible info we can so myself and others can make clear sense of what is out there.

    Thank you in advance for your input! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Hi Kyatric! (first things first: i must thank you for solving so many doubts i had before! Thank you so much!)

Ok so... yes i've seen his post, but unfortunately it seems that it wont work on tablets (which i hoped would).

I'm also hoping to find alternatives to Pode's solution (with all the respect that he deserves!).

Is there any other internal/external plugins that can be used?

Does appMobi work? The posts i saw seemed outdated and unclear.

    Thank you for your time!

P.S.: Please consider me really really dumb - so you need to type slowly!

  • Has anyone found a way to scan a QR on a mobile phone (at least IOS 6+) using C2? Podes solution does not seem to work at all.

I would consider making it native using phone gap or similar, if it worked.
