Hello Im trying to find a way to automatically select the frame of a sprite depending on location/position relative to others, its often referred to as autotiling and is included in some game editors with a tilemap but not in Construct. to be clear, I'm not using a tilemap, I have minecraft style individual blocks and I'm attempting to make the innermost 'stone' blocks a different frame (darker in color), so ones surrounded by other blocks. I found a few examples that are kind of what I'm trying to do but it seems like so many steps and not exactly what I'm trying to do. I can't seem to find a way to implement it in my game. I will be brainstorming/learning what I can. Any help or concepts appreciated!
