Im apparently a noob cause I can't figure this out.

I just want to get the X , Y location a person touches (or clicks) on the screen so that I can create an object in that location, an explosion etc..

Any help would be appreciated as I am sure it is something simple but I have been spending several hours trying to figure this out and probably should just sleep lol. Thanks!
