I've noticed that while dragging an object with physics applied that if you pause at all while dragging (BUT DO NOT RELEASE/DROP) that the object will "detach" from the cursor and fall. Why is this?
The manual states that the physics object isn't really designed to be used with other mechanics as it can cause 'teleporting' issues.

That's unfortunate... but thanks for the reply.
It does that because the object is being teleported. And it's still accelerating as if in free fall. Set the velocity to 0 when dragging for a solution.
